watched spiderman 2 on the first night of showing (yeah.. that was five days ago and i only blog about it now… talk about overdue posts…). *drools over the sight that is tobey maguire* god, he was such a cutie hunk on the first spiderman and even better with spiderman2. those eyes. those lips. those chin. *faints* well, enough about tobey. about spiderman…. it’s absolutely awesome. there just isn’t any dull or dragging moment. and the semi-crappy dialogues that were present in the first spiderman are somewhat not that obvious in the second one. the plot’s so similar to superman2: the superhero thinks about leaving crime fighting behind to live a normal life with the girl of his dreams but in the end he starts to wear his mask and return to crime fighting. acting’s great. love alfred molina. he gave life to the deranged mind of doc ock. plus his mechanical arms are cute. they sometimes look like brontosaurus’ or snake’s head. makes me wanna pet them. *pets pets the mechanical arms pets* aside from him, i like james franco in this one (though i really like him too in the first one). he portrays the revengeful, obsessed son of norman osborne, harry osborne, bent on getting even with spiderman for killing his father. and he plays it really well. and don’t forget tobey maguire. XD three scenes stick to mind though. the cocktail party scene, the “raindrops keep falling on my head” part and the “i’m back. i’m back. my back. my back” part. he was way too cute in that raindrops part, in a dorky kinda way, that is. by the way, was it just me or was the train scene reminding you of speed (the keanu reeves flick). i was thinking to myself… “we can jump it”. if you don’t get what i mean, rent or buy the movie.

now on to spiderman 3, which is a given with the ending we have. there are several possibilities as to the villians in the third installement. there’s lizard (dr. connors), man-wolf (john jameson) and of course green goblin 2 (osborne). i’m still waiting for the kingpin and eddie brock’s aka venom’s appearances. either they’ll place hints of him (brock) in the 3rd movie and use him in the fourth. or use him in the third and build up harry osborne’s aka green goblin 2’s rage to use that in the fourth. or they might use john jameson as venom… which will cause a tremendous uproar from the spidey fandom. X_x anyway, if they’re using GG2, will they be killing osborne jr? i can’t remember if they killed him in the comics and cartoons. and will GG2 team up with other possible villians? i just hope that if they use GG2 in the next movie they won’t kill him unless it’s really the last spiderman movie to be shown. don’t kill shexay james franco for the meantime please.
