on playing with several things

currently tweaking LivePress and it works wonders. ^O^ now i don't have to neglect my ___teckie! XD

anyway, is also playing with Firefox, currently loving it. love the tabs, themes and extension features. the themes and extensions were giving me severe headache at the start but luckily there's help at the support forums. then i realized.... yeah, the answer was just staring me at my face. X.x other features worth noting firefox for: an integrated basic download manager for pausing and resuming downloads, as i said tabs for all those millions of open windows, downloadable extensions or plugins like those mouse gestures (look ma! no hands!... unless i'm typing the url into the address bar) and it has a pop-up blocker too (though i solved that with googlebar on ie plus windows xp sp2 has solved that problem too). though i don't know if i'll be fully turning into a firefox baby. some sites look like hell with them but okay at ie. it's funny looking at some of my sites with it. border tables showing, images not aligning, background pics not repeating. *shrugs* there's always ie to fall back too.

on another note, just finished reading my fourth dan brown book, deception point. after reading all his four books, i have to say that there's nothing new. if ever he comes out with a fifth book, i would know the storyline even without reading a chapter: a killing/murder happens, introduction of hero/heroine, then introduction of either the love-interest or a respected someone of our hero/heroine, chase chase chase, then the revalation of the respected someone being behind everything that's happening to the hero/heroine. but even with that said, i actually like his writing style. it seems like he really do research for the books he write. (either that or i'm really gullible to believe in those written stuff... XD) plus that chase chase chase parts of his books are really good. his short chapters, some may hate it, some may love it, but i think it adds to the suspense so i love it. now going back to what i said earlier, even if i know the outcome of his fifth book, i'll still try to get it for my to-read list. after that, i'm now debating whether to read the eternity code or across the nightingale first. i think i'll go with the artemis fowl first, since i was really looking forward to that one.
