on Jars of Clay
thanks to bratinella and her free tickets (and also to
piagorgeous because if she went with bratty, then i wouldn’t have a shot at watching XD) , i got to watch jars of clay last week for free. wheee free concert tickets and it was such a long time since i’ve watched a concert.
i’m not a really big fan of them. i don’t have any of their cds. the songs i only know of theirs are those that they released on the airwaves. but still i enjoyed their concert. of the more or less 15 songs they performed, i think i only know of 5 or 6. can’t remember most of the titles though since i’m really bad with that.
after the concert, we were talking outside the venue waiting for someone i don’t know who… but anyway, a small, weird conversation:
me (with no idea who the hell franz ferdinand is XD): ei! i heard franz ferdinand’s also coming to manila. sometime in april i think. you know him? what’s his songs?
friend: O.o you mean them….
me: huh? x.x
friend: they’re a band…
me: ….
well… maybe i know them if i heard their songs. that’s how i am when it comes to music. i wouldn’t know the title of a song even if i’m singing it. i’m the queen of misheard lyrics but still tries to sing every song she hears. and i wouldn’t know who the singer is even if they’re staring right at me. XD

Franz Ferdinand is a band. Their songs are sometimes wierd because of the beat, but sometimes, it can be hooking to some people. They said tey wanted people to dance that’s why they made those kind of songs, problem is, i don’t feel like dancing at all when i hear them. o_o;
