finished. two days. finished reading harry potter book 6 last monday. two days is pretty long for the book. and no, i didn’t lose sleep over it. i was still able to sleep and still able to eat. hoping to finish it in a day but then i had chores on the first day of reading it. anyway, i pretty much liked this one better than HP:OotP. i hated the angsty!Harry from HP:OotP. good that he’s less angsty right now. but still it isn’t HP:PoA or even HP:GoF for me. those two are still at the top of my HP book list with HP:PoA leading. ^^ sometimes though i wish rowling would just go back to harry potter being a children’s book… the harry potter that i love. right now, i can’t tell if these past two books are still under the children’s book category.

opened Ohhh Tuti, the Tsuchiya Yuuichi (Tuti) fanlisting. so if you’re a fan, please join because Tuti needs your loving! ^O^

so that this won’t just be a pluggage post, i’m sharing a link i found through my Tuti research for the FL. if you still don’t know, Tuti was a regular co-host of an NHK educational program entitled machi e tobidasou back in 2001. well, i know it was filmed in 2001. have no idea if it was shown in the same year. anyway, from the link above, if you click on the first tab on the left, the one with the blue button and a tv beside it, you’ll be taken to the streaming episodes with the dorky tuti. XD you can pick which episodes to watch in the second drop down list. problem is the only viewable episodes are ep1 to ep13. but still, it’s pretty fun to watch the eps because tuti’s one heck of a funny and adorable dork… you know, the one that we all love… <3 watch the eps till the end coz he just loves doing different things after the credits. ie. rolling past the camera in a cart, doing his V-split, dancing, showing of his drawings. XDDD you just have to watch it to appreciate the tuti dorkiness. oh, and at episode 9, listen carefully cause he’ll be “Ohhh Tuti”-ing by the middle of the show. and ep 12 has his yabadabadoo line. XD watching all those eps, Tuti’s really such a lively character that makes him the life of the show and such a joy to watch. waiiiii! *^_^*

why is it that i absolutely love light and happy adventure movies than those movies that makes me use my brain even for just a second. you know, those popcorn movies. XD with that said, people will kill me for this. XD

watched Fantastic Four yesternight. i enjoyed this one a lil weeeee bit than Batman Begins. *gets stabbed a million times* maybe because i have set my expectations for batman begins waaaaay too high that i ended up looking for something more from that film… though really, i still enjoyed batman. *is trying to save her ass* X_x

anyway, back to F4 since that’s the reason why i’m writing this. the only time that i was exposed to fantastic four was to the cartoons way back.. was it the 80s or early 90s? but yeah. never touched a comic book about it. back at that time, i really love johnny and ben. they have their cute banters on the show, plus i love both of their powers. i never really cared about mr. fantastic since i was exposed also to plasticman then and the power of elasticity was just wearing on me. as for invisible girl, same sentiments as mr. fantastic. it was funny because i know human torch and the thing’s name while both mr. fantastic and invisible girl… i only learned in the movie. XD that was back then.

actually when i learned about an F4 movie, i wanted to see it just because of johnny and ben. then i learned that chris evans is playing johnny! *floored* from the Not Another Teen Movie, even if i wasn’t able to watch it and only saw the trailers of it, i find him cute. XD but after a while, since i’m really not a big big fan of F4, my craving to watch the movie waned. and then just this past couple of days, i learned that Orange Range’s Kirikirimai Remix version is included in the soundtrack. and i was like… O.O whooha! for sure?! *dies* OMG! it is in it! Orange Range is going international!!! *dies* so that renewed my craving to watch the movie.

now, i’m glad that i was able to force my movie buddies to watch it with me. it made me remember my love for johnny and ben. there were laughable moments and cheesy and corny lines in it. but heck, that’s what i love in movies. XDDDD chris evans is soooo much love. his cockiness, his showbiz and limelight craving self. XD OMG! he’s enjoying his character waaay too much. yeah, i think chris stole the show for me here. jessica alba was okay but at some points, it looks like she tries really hard to act. i dunno. oh, and stan lee cameo! my gawd! <3 stan lee!!! anyway, was waiting to hear the Kirikirimai remix but until the end, i can't seem to point where it was ever played. but yeah, it was in the credits. maybe i'll just rewatch it again and listen more closely where it was played. anyone knows at what point in the movie it was ever used? found out, kirikirimai was played when johnny storm was in the dirt bike competition. so yeah, OR fans watching the movie, keep an ear out for that.

so should you watch it? maybe if you’re a jessica alba fan, yeah watch it. if you’re a chris evans fan, you SHOULD watch it. if you’re a comic book F4 fan, i can’t tell. XD but if you’re watching it expecting to find a Batman Begins movie, maybe you should lower your expectations way down. i mean this is a popcorn movie. you should enjoy it as it is.
