friday five…

1. What do you do for a living?
an application developer for the abs-cbn interactive. we used to do the backend development for sites but the company sort of expanded and ventured into the sms world. so now, we develop applications for sms. for those in the phillipines, that access number 2366, yeah… we program those.

2. What do you like most about your job?
the challenge of programming and logic. that may sound geeky but when you accomplish something, it makes me feel better. making something that works work better. or learning something new, eg how-to-do something or another. learning of different ways of getting a job or task done.

3. What do you like least about your job?
the management. yeah. i don’t care if they read this. they’re just an elitisic clique that don’t value the importance of their people. the only thing that they value is money, money, money…. (quite a grudge i got there, ne? ^_~)

4. When you have a bad day at work it’s usually because _____…
like what i said above, mostly because of the management. if not them, just me waking up in the wrong side of the bed.

5. What other career(s) are you interested in?
i wanna go back to web development + web designing. if i should choose a totally different line of work from what i’m doing now, which is programming, i guess i’ll just choose a culinary career. a chef for a four-star or five-star hotel. or just have my own restaurant with my own dishes for the customers to choose from. if not a culinary career, i wanna be an architect plus interior decorator. designing houses both for the inside and out. yeah.. something like that.

friday five… or should i say sunday five XD!

What one thing are you most looking forward to . . .

1. …today?
since it’s already night time, some much needed sleep a little bit later

2. …over the next week?
going back to my usual routine of work - home - work. after my vacation of 2 weeks… yeah, i can say that i miss work. oh! and watching RotK for the second time for our usual movie dates. RotK’s being released on the 9th. lastly… maybe changing this look. i easily got tired with this one. pucca wasn’t meant for grey.

3. …this year?
planning on going to culinary school but that’s highly doubtful since i don’t have the cash to pay the tuition. unless my parents sponsor me.

4. …over the next five years?
having my very own restaurant/small business. or just be an entrepreneur.

5. …for the rest of your life?
i can’t really say that i want a family of my own. i can’t even see myself as a mother. maybe just being successful in whatever field i choose… meaning seeing money… lots of it.
