OMG!!!! *hugs teh domain and blog* it’s back! <33333 dang. i didn't realize that i'll miss this one. T___T as for why the bandwidth consumption... don't ask. i finished my rant over that one at my LJ and i don't want to relive it.

anyway, went on a book shopping spree this past few days. first, i got a couple of manga. actually the titles i got weren’t supposed to be on my to-buy list. problem is the manga titles i want weren’t available. so just for the heck for me to have some new manga, grabbed one piece, black cat, getbackers and tsubasa. i was planning to complete my tenipuri and recca manga but yeah. no stock. i saw bleach volume 16 on the store but someone has it on reserve so that means that i can’t get it. dang. and i want that hitsugaya cover soooo much. oh, and remember this post? i decided to pre-order the tenipuri one. (^O^) but then that will make me a couple of bucks poorer by the time they charge my credit card. (;_;)

well, aside from manga, i indulged myself in other books as well. grabbed a couple of christina dodd, susan elizabeth phillips, suzanne enoch and lisa kleypas. i’ve been looking for enoch since she’s pretty much a recommended author by the ones who love quinn. i’m pretty much excited to read her books. i hope it doesn’t disappoint since i’m really trying to find someone to put in my historical romance author pedestal along with mcnaught, quinn, garwood and barnett. well, from those romance books i’ve bought the only one i’ve read so far were from christina dodd. it’s an okay read. nothing spectacular. nothing great. just good. so yeah, i’m still in the lookout for a new author.

and lastly i got my hands on this sweet book, the princess bride. i’ve read the book before but i just borrowed that copy. now i can read it whenever i want! plus it has this excerpt from Buttercup’s Baby. that one i haven’t read so looking forward to that. oh, and i also finally got charlie and the great glass elevator. so yeah, will be reading that one soon too.

layout update on shiromaNU. this one’s something new. no pictures, no frills. pretty minimalistic. i think i’ll do a series of no-gaming no-character layout such as this one for the white-mageNETWORK. i just don’t know how far this challenge to myself will go plus i don’t know how each long each layout will last.

was just talking about 1Gig gmail service by google the other day. then i saw this article talking about gmail being auctioned off at ebay. wow… a gmail account which can be acquired free being sold for 60USD?!… and here i gave one of my invitations for free. XD when i headed off to ebay yesterday and did a search for gmail accounts, i can see them going as high as 80USD. easy bucks, man. right now though, they’re down to 20USD average.

on another note, i saw the lunar eclipse last night. actually, more of this really really early morning. around 3:30AM. when everyone’s in dreamland. the moon’s pretty big with this orangish-reddish glow. was lazy to get my telescope and set it up in my room, so just watched it with the naked eye. heard that there were also supposed to be some comets sightings as well. that one i wasn’t able to see. will try to catch it in the next couple of days… hopefully.

on another level, was able to download some manga off snoopycool. i didn’t know they were doing MAR, the manga nobuyuki-sensei is currently doing after Flame of Recca. the characters remain as cute as ever though they still remind me too much of Recca and his co-horts. another series they’re doing is Midori no Hibi. i heard that this is released as an anime. don’t have any news on that one (the anime that is). but this is one freakin’ funny manga. the third current series i’m checking out in SP is Yakitate Japan. think Cooking Master Boy crossed with Hikaru no Go. I don’t know why but it has some similarities with HikaGo. i think it’s the art. the artwork in the chapters that i read are similar to HikaGo. but i know YJ isn’t done by Obata-sensei. or again, maybe my eyes are deceiving me.

well… that’s all right now. i’m off to catch van helsing. it’s already released here (philippines, that is). two days advanced than what’s said to be the released date in the states.

new layout! another pitaten one since i have a couple of really really really cute pitaten images. anyway, i hope this is more readable than the last one. darn it. even i was having trouble with reading my posts previously. -.-;

first and foremost, thanks to you (btw, i love that sumomo card!), you, and you and also to you guys and you too and also all of you for the birthday greetings. and also to those whom i have forgotten to thanks.

i went on a manga shopping spree and got a couple of chobits, furuba, and ccs merchandise. right now i have the sumomo ufo catcher doll series #2. it looks better than series #1. then good thing they still have the chobits manga volume 2 since that’s the one that have the sumomo cellphone accessory. so right now, sumomo’s hanging from the side of my cellphone. it’s looks kinda weird though since sumomo’s even larger than my mobile phone. and also i have the chobits postcard book, ccs illustration 2, and completed the ccs series. since i can now scan lots of stuff, i think i’ll make an image gallery site for those looking for high quality scans. it’s in the bottom of my list though unless i’ve lost interest in all the sites i’m trying my hardest to put up. X

since christmas is just around the corner and everyone’s wishlist is popping up, anyone interested in mine? *hint* *hint* i’ll be adding stuff soon, me thinks.

FOFL! you’re the only one calling me ate aside from my younger cousins. *makes me feel so old ^^;* anyway, if i’m you’re ate, you’re my shobe… ^_^ *doesn’t know if she got the spelling right* and before i forget, great layout! and if anyone’s wondering what ate is, that means older sister ^^;;;. kuya is older brother.

thanks a lot, lyn for the font! cute layout btw. i’m really sorry for your dog. i’ve had several dogs who died too and i know how hard it is especially if you really love them. i lost three pups myself, the oldest being a year old with me. right now, i’m looking after the oldest dog that i have who’s with us for 12 years already. he’s still strong but not as lively as he used to be. and there’s this thing troubling his eye. something like a cataract. he’s my favorite and i know when the time comes that he passes away, i know that i’ll be totally devastated. i do hope that doesn’t come anytime soon.
