I’d never thought that I’d be listening to them. The last time that I remembered hearing them was that they were kinda hard-core rock-ish sounding. Which I was never really inclined to listen to. Either that or I’m mistaking them for an altogether different band. And now they’re changing their tune to a more pop-ish alternative-ish sound. Not that I’m complaining since this song’s pretty addictive. But yeah, looks like every OPM band is starting to sound like that.

Wow. This post is more than a month in the making. O_o Seriously. I keep on just saving it as a draft and now I totally forgot and don’t know what to type. -.-;;;

Anyway, I remember that I just want to fangirl over 花より男子 Drama. Because it’s that good. Oh and don’t forget the fact that: Tec -> big Hanadan (manga/jdorama/tdrama) fan. So, breezed through it in two days. Stopped the first day because my copy of episode 4 was busted. XD But if it wasn’t I would have either skipped work or wouldn’t sleep at all just to finish it. Ah, the joys of watching a series when you have the complete episodes.

Manga!HYD > JDrama!HYD of course. Nothing comes close to manga!HYD anyway. But Jdrama!HYD > TDrama!MG. Yes. And that’s my opinion.

The thing I like about MG is that MG followed the plot of the manga!HYD closely. It packed more manga arcs since it has like 19 eps to squeeze all that’s available of the manga at that time. And so it has most of the DomyoujixMakino scenes that I absolutely adore. So far that’s the only thing I can think of that MG did better than the JDrama. Yeah, I liked the Taiwan!F4 but I like the Japan!F4 better. Cross that… I like Jun!Doumyouji better than Jerry!Doumyouji because between the remaining F3, I like Vanness!Akira and Ken!Nishi better. But as for Rui, I’ll take a pass on that but I’m gearing towards Oguri!Rui.

Now as for the JDrama, even if they took only a few arcs in the manga, I like the pacing and the meshing of the story better. Or maybe it’s in the cutting of the episodes that’s why I wasn’t able to stop myself from watching the series straight through. But still, doing a marathon of the series in one sitting says a lot for itself. Anyway, aside from the better storyline, I like the acting better from the JDrama. And yeah, not only from MatsuJun, but also from Mao and Oguri and all the others. But let’s focus on MatsuJun. Because… OMG! He’s Doumyouji. I mean, he’s so freaking good actor that he wasn’t just portraying the part of Doumyouji, it was like Doumyouji stepped out of the manga and came tot life! That’s why I totally fell in love with MatsuJun! ♥♥♥ (*^_^*)

The Wish PV, Utaban and Music Station performances are only available on FileFactory. The PV should be available as an FTP download there but the Utaban and Music Station ones are huge and might only be available on their P2P thing. That’s weird since FileFactory said that files larger than 75Mb but less than 200Mb should also be available on FTP download. >.> But then FileFactory is starting to suck big time. I might upload those to MegaUpload one of these days. But more than likely, no.

anybody else listening to Nobuo Uematsu’s band, The Black Mages’ second album entitled The Skies Above? well, i saw a torrent of it available at boxtorrents and downloaded that one.

i totally love the first The Black Mages album. it’s one of those albums that i can place in my playlist and have it loop over and over again. if you haven’t heard of them or any of their music, think of the best soundtracks in all of the Final Fantasy albums and give it a some electric guitars, drums, and more organ and you have one of the best music ever.

now on to the second album, the great guitars and drums and organ’s still there but for two of tracks in it, Otherworld (that’s blitzball rock theme) and The Skies Above (the title screen theme), why should there be vocals? yeah, the original Otherworld from FFX has vocals in it but the vocals in this one’s done by some gal who i think just doesn’t suit the mood and feel of the track. it’s just way too off. as for The Skies Above, it fairly started okay. fairly like the original. but when the vocal parts entered, damn, it destroyed the track again! this time the track was sung by a guy who just sounds sooo…. operatic. >.> damn. but aside from those two tracks, this album is worth it. i wonder if ever they’ll start releasing this one and the first album internationally. because, i, for one, will definitely grab it.
