was supposed to write here last saturday night but when i tried going online, our phone was dead and no dial tone. -.- glad the phone company got it fixed yesterday.

anyway, went to watch Robots last saturday night with my usual movie buddies. and it’s one of the most hilarious movies i’ve seen recently. plotwise, it actually is one of the most used stories i’ve seen. a person going to the city trying to make it “big” as they say. person encounters the main villian who will try to stop him from making it big. person will try his best to overcome villian and defeat him. and then he fulfills his goal. in this movie’s case, that person is a robot named Rodney Copperbottom. simple plot, right?

so what makes it enjoyable to watch? two words. Robin Williams. i have to give it to Robin Williams. his portrayal of Fender is really the main reason why this movie is hilarious. i remember when he did Genie in Aladdin, i love him there too. he brings life to the character he portrays. <3333 Fender even steals most of the limelight from Rodney. that's how i find Fender hilariously adorable. so if you're going to watch this movie, always keep an eye on him. i particularly love the "ice-skating with rodney" and the "Britney Spears hit me baby one more time" scenes. those two scenes made me clutched my stomach from laughing. XDDD

oh and yeah, finally, Ice Age 2 in 2006! there was a small teaser before the start of Robots with Scrat (remember, that squirrel from the first Ice Age?) still trying to look for a place to bury his acorn. pretty cute. i can’t wait for that one to be released. i hope they still have the complete group of Diego, Manny and Sid. plus maybe Pinky the baby a lil bit older.
