on the smallness of the world
It’s such a small world isn’t it? Annika’s just someone I met at a board. And we got three things in common so far: we came from the same province, we live in the same area, and she works as a celebrity for my mother company. Cool how you can meet a complete stranger in such a big place like the internet with more similarities than one. I wonder if I have a long lost twin somewhere just waiting to be discovered.
on artemis fowl, the arctic incident
Just finished book two of artemis fowl, the arctic incident. Well compared to the first book this one’s easier to read for me since I somehow have a grasp of who are and what do the creatures look like. But unlike the first book this one has less of fowl’s mind in it. Which makes me like the first book more. Don’t get me wrong since I like this book too particularly the ending where fowl rescues his dad. I guess that’s why I like the series… because of fowl’s mind and his bag of tricks. Cut down on that and it wouldn’t be that great. But still I’m looking forward to getting my hands on the third book since most of the people loved that book the best in the series. I wonder how many books eoin colfer plans to write. And if this book is going to the big screen anytime soon. I heard rumors before but didn’t kept tabs on that one. Will check it out later.
