great. just great. -.- after finishing a new layout for gorgeousORG, WordPress1.5 is released. yeah, it’s good that 1.5 is realeased but it has a different theme system that makes me wonder if skinning will still work. i was planning to upload the new layout today but now… nooooo… i have to tinker with it to make it work. gao! i hate to tinker with things when everything should work out how it’s supposed to be. i guess there’s no escaping it. i have to add this to my study-list. *sighs*

my head’s pounding right now pretty much for different reasons.

for one, i’m trying to learn advanced css. particularly, something to do with making divs obey you and making them do what you want them to do. i have a layout finished for marikitORG, the problem is i want to change all my skins to css based ones before uploading the new one. inspiration comes from css zen garden and the multiple style sheets it has. but if inspirations cause my head to break and make me loose my sanity, to hell with that then. i’ve been going to that site and studying the different style sheets available for months now. but seems like only a few of those are seeping in. or they haven’t tackled anything that i want to happen.

and the second reason is Hong Kong DVDs and it’s engrish talk. i watched 20+ episodes of Get Backers over the weekend since i was able to borrow it from a friend of my friend. this is the first (and hope that it would be the last) time i ever watched those anime Hong Kong DVDs and damn. their engrish can give anyone headaches… no make that migraines. their engrish really suck. i have no idea if these HK companies have any english talking personnel but shouldn’t they at least hire a decent english talking consultant? i swear, their engrish subtitles is even worse than those Korean stationeries. at least those Korean stationeries looks cute. this one is just a pain to read.

and should they at least have continuity? i mean, for one, they keep on changing the names of the characters that sometimes you don’t know who they’re talking about anymore. on one episode, they got Kazuki’s name right. on the next episode, they’re calling him Chord. so i was going, “who the feck is Chord?” then Kazuki shows up and i go, “ooooohhhh, so HE’S Chord…” then the next episode, they call Kazuki by an alltogether different name again that i can’t really remember. i think it’s his Chinese name or something. some goes with Akabane/Dr. Jackal/Dr. Wolf/Dr. Jekyll. he got soooo many names that it’s really way too confusing. and another thing, why do they keep on insisting calling Juubei Serbavy when it’s pretty obvious that he’s called Juubei? damn anime Hong Kong DVDs.

now, i’m seriously considering getting the ADV release of Get Backers. should i get or should i not. i just realized yesterday that my credit card company raised my credit limit. that means that i can really go ahead and buy it. problem is will it be worth it?

and another thing to add to my headache, firefox crashing on me whenever i have pop-ups. lost half of this post because of that.

now to go back to learning more css. i think i’ll tinker with the LJ layout too.

what the heck is wrong with the internet today! i can’t browse any google site and that includes checking my gmail. i can’t check any news since i go to google’s news site. i can’t do any freaking searching! so now i have to go to yahoo to search.. but what happens? i can’t even do a yahoo search! this is really annoying. -.- i don’t think it’s a proxy thing since also uesugi_rin experiences that google-no-access.
